Possible association between tumor-suppressor gene mutations and hMSH2/hMLH1 inactivation in alveolar soft part sarcoma

Post by D.ap »

Written in 2003 of microsatellite instability in a group of ASPS patients .
Furthermore, microsatellite instability (MSI) analysis and loss of heterozygosity (LOH) on chromosome 5q analysis were used for some cases of ASPS where DNA derived from normal tissue was available

Johannes mentioned in a conversation back in feb of 2016

"MSI-high would have been needed to get into this Pembrolizumab trial: https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT ... bec&rank=7 (one of the inclusion criteria "for any other advanced solid tumor" being that it is Microsatellite Instability (MSI)-High)."

Granted the trial is predominately cancer patients
