Also if you are going to MD Anderson I highly recommend the Dan's House for young adults. You need to make your reservations way way in advanced and its free and they are an amazing family who host other families needing housing in the Houston area. You can find their info on the web just do a google search. I will also recommend Angel House in the dominic village, their rooms go for 69 dollars but are very good and clean and you get amazing facilities. its super close to the hospital and it has a shuttle system that goes to MD anderson twice a day. Plus you get free breakfast and the ability to purchase lunch and dinner inside the dominic village.
