I forgot about that already. My friend was working in SF (at Google) for the summer, and he was done. We had a few days to drive down in a serious rush. Perhaps the last hike (~30 km round trip, ~1.3 km elevation gain) of the summer to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Tusk It provides an interesting comparison, since I've been here in 2004 before I had any lung surgeries. Yes, it's quite a lot more difficult now. However, it's only been 5 months since the last surgery. Overall, it was no problem for me - recovery is good.
