Rib Fractures after RFA and Microwave Ablation

An article from Damian E. Dupuy, MD one of the most experienced interventional radiologists in US. alerts us that there is rib fracture risk after the RFA or microwave ablation esp. if the targeted nodule was located close to the chest wall.

I do not know if there is a similar risk after the cryoablation, will ask Dr.Littrup.
