H1N1 and the Flue

Greetings everyone
I wanted to start a thread in reference to the Flue and H1N1 and a place to share tips.
About an hour ago my son Aidan developed a fever and it was about 101.
I called his Ped and talked to him and he said to treat it like the regular flue and watch.
I then went to the CDC site and looked up information for cancer paitents. It stated that if there has been no cancer treatments for a month that was good. But, it made no sence to me because chemo and radiation do mess the immune system up for months after treatment ends! An even longer with some chemos.
Please, share what you are doing to not only treat the flue but prevent the flue to help myself and others.
Also, a nice soup recipe would be also very cool!
Things i do when the flue hits are home....
Strawberrys for vit C
Bananan for potacium
Blueberrys
soups and crackers
Gatoraid, OJ, water...
In healing hopes for all! and in hopes of a new way to cool ssoup!
Amanda
