September 15, 2008, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Sancuso (granisetron transdermal system), the first and only patch to provide up to five consecutive days of control of nausea and vomiting for patients receiving a moderately and/or highly nausea-inducing chemotherapy regimen.
I have seen a post on the SA board from someone who's husband had zofran, compazine, protonix and they all did not work, but this new patch was very helpful, the nausea is gone and he's gaining his weight back.
