Re: Lili from China-DX May 2012
Dear Lili, I am sorry to have not responded sooner, but I have been away from the computer. I am so deeply sorry for your disease progression, and urge you to seek treatment as soon as possible for your kidney, liver, and ilium mets through ablation or radiosurgery prior to starting a systemic treatment in order to reduce your body's tumor burden and better enable a systemic treatment to be more successful. Also, if they have not already been done, you need to have a brain MRI and a full body bone scan to determine if there are any mets in those areas. I will write more again soon, but for now I just wanted to express my special concern and caring and to encourage you to stay strong, pro-active, and well informed in your courageous battle, and to keep in touch with this Forum as you are able. Reaching out to share special hugs, caring thoughts, healing wishes, warm friendship, and continued Hope, Bonni Hess, mother of 33 year old Brittany diagnosed 14+ years ago at age 19

LiliHi Olga
Thanks for your advice.there Hi Olga
Thanks for your advice.there are several mets in ilium, the biggest one is 2.3cm,and I haven't do any treatment.there are 116 mets in my right lung, while 85 mets in left lung. Whether it should be removed surgically?
The lungs scan area is always scary to see but as Olga reminded you not all of the images are growing tumors some are scar tissue. I don't doubt that there are some tumors growing

So , what I really want to say is don't let that fear take you off your focus of treating the kidney tumor as soon as possible .
The liver needs to be watched and look into doctor wise and the bone medicine needs to be discussed to strengthen your pelvic bones .
Get plenty of rest and eat good foods.

Love
Debbie
