Is the restricted ketogenic diet a viable alternative to the standard of care for managing malignant brain cancer? The below quote is from the medical publication from NIH .
The diet was originally divised for epilespy but shows promised with cancers.
It obviously should not be used as an only means to control cancer but in addition to other necessary treatments.
ALWAYS consult your doctor about this!
He knows your medical history and can guide you through this diet.

As long as brain tumor cells have access to glucose and glutamine, the disease will progress. The current standard of care provides brain tumors with access to glucose and glutamine
