Lodamin is a derivative of TNP-470. TNP-470 helped a young lady who participated in a clinical trial at MSK in early 1998. Unfortunately, while it kept her lungs stable and caused other tumors to shrink, the dear child eventually succumbed to the disease in Dec. 1999. I believe TNP-470 gave this dear child some very happy time with her loved ones.

TNP-470 was made by the same people. It mentions in the article that they have improved upon TNP-470, they believe they have decreased side effects and hopefully increased effectivness.

Like I said something to keep an eye out for if they ever get to human trials.
