"Many cancer patients expect palliative care to cure"

Do we as patients and AS caregivers have an in correct outlook, understanding of what lies ahead of us or is it the medical profession that has little to act upon on our behalves? :(

It's time that the ASPS folks change the view of medical providers.

:D Case and point..
From the above link..

"Patients with metastatic lung cancer usually live less than a year, she told Reuters Health, and their radiation treatments are intended to improve quality of life for the time that remains, so Chen was surprised that so many patients believed they would cure them"

We have Ivan, Tom, Amanda, Brittany, and more incredibly brave men and women to disprove the sarcoma protocol of looking upon us as treat the symptoms not the disease
Treatment 101 of our community of family can NOT be the norm. Our sarcoma does and can move slowly. Pass the word  :)
