Spontaneous regression in alveolar soft part sarcoma: case

There is a new article in the World Journal of Surgical Oncology 2009 http://www.wjso.com/content/7/1/53
with the very intriguing title:
Spontaneous regression in alveolar soft part sarcoma: case report and literature
review
its PDF is here:

The patient achieved some incomplete regression of the huge primary tumour and multiple lung metastases using some herbs (Teucrium polium, Cat Thyme). Although the regression of the primary and lung metastases was of a short duration - about 5 months before other lesions appeared and later on, he died secondary to brain metastasis, the response of the bulky primary tumour that allowed its complete resection is fascinating. I want to say right away that I urge people who also found this article NOT to try to use Cat Thyme as I performed some initial investigation and there are articles on the Pubmed that say that the authors did a study re. what does this herb do and found that although the aqueous extract of Teucrium polium has strong hypoglycemic properties in experimental animals, it also very hepatotoxic, so it is not suitable to use it in human

For us of interest here that it looks like ASPS may response to the serum glucose values decreased significantly although the duration of the response might be short, there might be other safer way to do that.
