Anti-Angiogenic Treatments

Alveolar soft part sarcoma is highly angiogenic. It involves intensive growth of new blood vessels that connect the tumor to the blood system, supplying nutrients, oxygen and removing waste products. All of those are enabling optimal tumor growth. Here we will discuss new treatments that aim to inhibit the growth of those blood vessels, hopefully resulting in choking the ASPS tumor.
