Radiologist that reads the scans is the one that tells us that there is the 90% death of tumor. We try to have comparisons done from earlier scans each time.

Doctor that did molecular study of Ashleys tumors does not feel that Sutent would be to any advantage to her.

Ashley began this treatment early October 2006. She has regular scans about every 2 months. These include CT, Mri, PEt scans. Yes, we do Mri of brain. Bone scan has not been done for awhile so I will ask her doctor to include in the next set of scans scheduled for early March.

Ashley is currently on Nexavar & Avastin. The nexavar is taken every day in pill form. The Avastin is given every other week by IV. Side effects have been foot sores, mouth sores, weight loss, tired a lot of the time, and she did lose her hair. The foot sores are gone, just had them when she fir...

Ashley had a PET/CT scan last week. Results we were told were stable to slight improvement. Primary tumor is showing less activity again on this scan.
