TKI discontinuation caused increased speed of growth even in the patients that stoped responding to TKI (i.e. they had a growth detected while on a TKI treatment and stopped taking it after initial response):

Hi Olga
Thanks so much for the recent article which unfortunately we know is to date applicable to most of our friends on the forum of resistance that developes after TKI regiments. :(
I find the " tumor flair up " termololgy something new and a must be term to delve into ?

Researching flair up brings up topics of metabolic, radiololgy and refers to

Medical Definition of FLARE-UP

: a sudden appearance or worsening of the symptoms of a disease or condition <an asthmatic flareā€“up>
Resistance is what we've talked about and referred to this phenomonin
Thanks for the information
